MYM Partners with Plexus Web Creation to Offer Scholarship

MYM Marketing & Public Relations, Inc teamed up with Plexus Web Creation to fund a scholarship for the Jeanette Rankin Foundation.

Presented in honor of Deborah Roberts, the keynote speaker for JRF's 2005 Annual Dinner, the scholarship was awarded to an applicant based upon applicant:
  • realistic goals and the potential to accomplish these goals
  • individual courage in dealing with difficult situations
  • the information provided in the letters of recommendation
  • the thoughtfulness with which the personal statement was prepared
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for, and awarding grants to, low-income women, ages 35 and older. Each grant recipient has a vision of how a college education will benefit herself, her family, and her community. Most recipients are in truly meager financial circumstances and may have other hardships or disabilities.
